Yucatan Coast, Mexico, 2013

While on Isla Holbosh,Mexico, we took a day trip to go swim with whale-sharks. It was a two hour boat ride away from the island, along the Yucatan coast. After swimming with the mastodons for a while and almost getting rammed by them a few times, we made our way back. En route, we stopped by a sand bar.
The scenery was incredible. The water was clear, almost like air, the sky wide and deep of stretchy clouds. A lone branch, partly-submerged, was hanging out in the sun as if waiting for us to arrive to welcome us.
A little moment of eternity right there.

I’m sitting down to comment on your Yucatan picture and a porcupine with a yellow flower is looking at me. I never know what/who I’ll meet on your blog. Fun possibilities await me. Thanks.
