Wander the trails of life,
Eyes wide, mind wider still;
Somewhere under a leaf most innocuous
Lay the grand treasure you seek without knowing.
You’ve stepped on it no doubt, no doubt twice if not thrice,
But fear not in the least, treasures real never break,
nor age, nor fade, nor change.
So sit at times quiet and look deeply ahead.
Strain without straining and see without grasping.
Below pebbles, wrappers, and hearts
You’ll find freedom always, and strength, too, aplenty.
Wander the many trails, be them of rocks, concrete, or dirt.
Sail even, if you please, but no matter the way, wander.
Not far from where you’ve been -Although there, much is to ponder-
But far from how you’ve seen.
That is where stars shine brightest
Reflected infinitely in sequences infinite
Of thoughts, matter, and dreams
Condensed in truth as deep as time and space unleashed.
