Weekly Haiku Challenge X

One’s view unchanging

Sadly stunted creation

Will destroy the mind

Beliefs blind to truth

Refuse to be broken down

And stunt creation

  1. Ronovan says:

Two offerings bringing a range of thought. The first gives me thoughts about creativity itself be in writing or really anything in life as all things produced require creativity at some level. The second could also be about the writing process where on refuses to change a set idea of who something should be done when help is offered to the contrary. Or it could be more of an origins of life Haiku debate.

    • I was going more for Creation being an euphemism for Man and that one stuck in rigid beliefs can not move forward in life/spiritually. IMO too tightly held on beliefs (especially if they are clearly at odds with reality) are the death of the mind in that they stunt that primordial spark that separates man from animal. Like the masters of old say: stagnant water stinks. Obviously that’s a way longer discussion but I don’t want to bore ya 😉 I do enjoy the different angles you bring to these, Ronovan. Being able to apperceive things from many different point of view is the way to keep the mind young 🙂
