A rose like a heart,

Punctured, worn,  a life well lived,

And iridescent still

    Perfectly beautiful and true picture of a heart that finds its way through life’s ups and downs. This reminds me of “The Velveteen Rabbit.”

    Your analogy si appropriate. It makes me think od sin- stained but still able to reflect the light. And especially of myself, age spots, wrinkles but still smiling I give you 5 stars!
